Jonathan Zhou
Hello, I’m Jonathan, and I am a rising-senior at Sage Hill School and the Founder of the Southern California VeteranCare MedLink Network. As the Founder and President of the Veterans Hospital, Sage Hearts for Heroes Club and the initiator of Sage Hill’s Student-Led Service Learning Project in partnership with the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center, I work to create meaningful opportunities for students to provide direct hospital support to the veteran community in hospital departments. As a volunteer in the GI Lab and Physical Therapy Clinic at the VA medical center, I assist with patient care, clinical preparation, and specimen transport, gaining firsthand insight into the responsibility and precision required in medicine. Beyond healthcare service, I have been a three-year varsity hockey player for Fairmont Prep Academy, a Founder of Sage Hill’s Roller Hockey Club, an MTAC State Convention Panel Finalist and Masterclass Qualifier for piano, and a Voices of Democracy award recipient recognized as an Outstanding Spokesperson for Freedom by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Through leadership, athletics, music, and service, I strive to cultivate discipline, empathy, and integrity, qualities I believe are essential for those who aspire to serve in the medical profession.

Hello, I’m Micca Su. I am a rising-senior at Fairmont Preparatory Academy and a member of the Southern-California Veteran MedLink. I hope to pursue a future centered on writing and storytelling, using words as a way to explore ideas and connect with others. I am dedicated to contributing to my community through peer editing and active involvement in school organizations. In addition to writing, I am deeply interested in psychology and how it shapes human behavior and relationships. I believe creative expression is one of the most meaningful ways to understand and connect with people. In everything I do, I aim to approach opportunities with purpose, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous growth.
Daisy Huang
Hello, I'm Daisy, and I am a student at Pacific Academy with a passion for healthcare, service, and leadership. As President of MED Club, I collaborated with students from local high schools to organize a volunteer initiative at a VA Hospital, creating opportunities for peers interested in medicine to gain meaningful exposure to healthcare settings while serving veterans in our community. In addition, I have completed over 100 hours of internship experience in medical clinics and regularly volunteer with hospice organizations supporting elderly patients. Beyond healthcare service, I serve as Vice President of Science Olympiad, President of the National Honor Society, and earned the Piano Certificate of Merit Advanced Level State Honor. Through service, academics, and the arts, I strive to develop the compassion, leadership, and dedication needed to make a positive impact in both medicine and my community.
Henry Liu
Hello, I'm Henry, and I am a rising junior at Albany Academy with a strong interest in understanding how human health is shaped by the environment and the world around us. This summer, I will be volunteering through Saratoga Hospital's SOAR program, where I will support patients, families, and healthcare professionals in clinical settings while developing valuable communication and patient-care skills. I also founded the HOSA chapter at Shenendehowa High School, leading research projects, community events, and outreach programs that promote health education and student engagement in healthcare. Beyond medicine, I am a USA Biology Olympiad Semifinalist, British Biology Olympiad Gold Medalist, three-time National Latin Exam Gold Medalist, and competitive AAA hockey player who has represented New York State and will compete for Albany Academy's prep team this fall. Whether I am working with patients, competing on the ice, or studying biology, I strive to approach every opportunity with enthusiasm, empathy, and an open mind.
